Sara Abdu

Sara Abdu is a multidisciplinary artist known for her illustrative practice, exploring anthropomorphized melancholic figures and themes related to the self, memory, home, mortality, and immortality. Her recent work explores transcendence through repetition, creating sensorial and mnemonic installations that invite viewers to reflect on memory, forgetfulness, and processes of reconciliation. With exhibitions in places such as Ithra, Dammam, and ATHR Gallery in Jeddah, her work is in major international collections, including the Green Box Museum in Amsterdam and the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.
