Nicolás Janowski

Nicolás Janowski (Buenos Aires, 1980) is an Argentine visual artist, anthropologist, and curator. His work explores territory, belonging, and hybrid identities in Latin America through art, documentary, and transmedia curation. He won the Repsol Lima Photo Award (2014), Magnum Foundation Emerging Photographer Award (2013), and 1st place at the Ibero-American Photobook Award for Fin del Mundo (2017). TIME named him one of Argentina’s 9 photographers to watch (2015). He has exhibited across Latin America, Europe, and the USA, with works in public and private collections including the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Argentina, and the Moscow Museum of Contemporary Art.
