Adriana Bravo (La Paz, Bolivia, 1972) is a renowned visual artist specializing in drawing, printmaking, and animation. She holds a Master’s in Visual Arts from UNAM, with a specialization in graphic arts at the Academia de San Carlos. She also completed a Postgraduate Degree in Art Criticism at the Universidad de Santo Tomás and earned a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés.
Her work has received significant recognition, including a Drawing and Printmaking Mention at SIART (1999) and an Honorable Mention at the Barranquilla Biennial (1998). In 2002, she co-founded the Doble A collective, participating in international electronic festivals in 2005 and 2007. In 2008, she was awarded scholarships from the Rockefeller Foundation and Tribeca Film Insight.
Since 2013, Bravo has worked independently, focusing on animation and urban interventions using moving vehicles, redefining the relationship between art and the city.
