Adrián Balseca

Adrián Balseca, a renowned contemporary artist, has made a significant impact in the art world through his participation in various solo and group exhibitions. In 2013, he received the prestigious Brazil-Emerging Art Prize at the Centro de Arte Contemporáneo in Quito. The following year, in 2014, he was honored with the Paris Prize at the 12th Cuenca International Biennial for his project To Go and Return. Balseca is also recognized for his collaborative work in the arts. He was a founding member of La Selecta-Cultural Cooperative and an active participant in the Tranvía Cero Collective, both influential art groups based in Quito.
