Claudio Zulian, an Italian artist born in 1960 and based in Barcelona, is a leading figure in film, visual arts, and contemporary music. Holding a Ph.D. in Aesthetics from the University of Paris-Saint Denis, he has taught at prestigious institutions such as the University of Barcelona and ETH Zurich.
His work has been exhibited at renowned venues such as Jeu de Paume (Paris), Centro Galego de Arte Contemporáneo, and La Virreina Centre de la Imatge. He has participated in festivals in New York, London, and Sydney, winning multiple awards. His video installation A través del Carmel earned him the Premi Nacional de Catalunya and the Ciutat de Barcelona Award.
