Alberto García-Alix is an iconic Spanish photographer, known for his raw and intimate style, which has shaped contemporary photography through his portrayal of counterculture and autobiographical narratives. He has exhibited at the Museo Reina Sofía, Maison Européene de la Photographie, and The Photographers’ Gallery, among other major institutions.
Winner of the National Photography Award (1999), he has also explored video art and curated exhibitions at PHotoEspaña (2017). His latest work, Fantasías en el Prado, reinterprets the Prado Museum’s collection using multiple exposures on analog film, reinforcing his position as a global reference in contemporary photography.
