Cromoactivismo

Cromoactivismo is an art and political collective that uses color as a tool for protest and visibility in public spaces. Since 2013, artists Marina De Caro, Victoria Musotto, Daiana Rose, Mariela Scafati, and Guillermina Mongan have collaborated with activist groups and organizations, promoting poster-making events (cromoactivations). The collective has participated in major demonstrations, including the LGTTTBIQP Pride March, protests against the release of human rights violators (2x1 law), the Mapuche people's fight for Santiago Maldonado, and the movement for legal, safe, and free abortion. In 2019, they created the color Zorrita, blending the shades of Ni Una Menos, church-state separation, and the abortion rights movement. Cromoactivismo has also published the book C(r)osmos and engaged in discussions on punitive systems, memory, and social justice.
