Alejandra Gómez Paredes is a professor, conservator, and visual artist at the Institute for Research on Cultural Heritage (IIPC) at UNSAM, Buenos Aires. A Painting and Drawing specialist, she trained at UNA and under Néstor Barrio.
She has worked at the National Engraving Museum and the National Museum of Fine Arts, contributing to multispectral image analysis research (UV, IR, RX). In 1999, she was awarded a grant from the National Arts Fund, Guggenheim Bilbao, and Fundación Proa. Her work bridges conservation, art, and technical research.
