Marco Maggi

Marco Maggi (Uruguay, 1957) is a visual artist whose practice integrates drawing, sculpture, and installation. His works use everyday materials to create structures evoking circuit boards and nerve networks. He represented Uruguay at the 56th Venice Biennale in 2015. His work is held in the collections of MoMA New York, Whitney Museum, Hirshhorn Museum, and Art Institute of Chicago. In 2013 he received the Premio Figari.
