Camilo Ontiveros

Camilo Ontiveros is a Mexican-American multidisciplinary artist exploring migration, politics, and economy. Founder of Lui Velázquez in Tijuana, he creates works like Temporary Storage (2017), exposing the impact of deportation. His film projects, including Liquid Light (2022), examine migration through ecological perspectives. Winner of the Illy Prize at Arco Madrid (2010), his work has been exhibited at the Hammer Museum, Nuit Blanche, and the North Coast Art Triennial.
