Donna Conlon
Donna Conlon is a renowned visual artist born in Atlanta in 1966 and based in Panama since 1994. Her work in video and installation explores themes of consumption, Panamanian identity, and contemporary societal contradictions. With an MFA from the Rinehart School of Sculpture in Baltimore, she has participated in major exhibitions at the Venice Biennale, the Met Breuer in New York, Tate Modern in London, and the Guggenheim Museum.
Since 2006, she has collaborated with artist Jonathan Harker, using discarded objects as metaphors for social and urban transformation. Their work has been exhibited at Palais de Tokyo (Paris), El Museo del Barrio (New York), and Biomuseo (Panama). Her pieces are part of international collections such as Daros Latinamerica (Zurich) and the Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation (Miami).
Currently represented by Galería DiabloRosso, Donna Conlon continues to produce thought-provoking works that challenge perceptions of everyday culture in contemporary society.
