Cecilia Avati is a Paraguayan visual artist specializing in painting, printmaking, and performance. Her work explores identity, memory, and borders, engaging with these themes through residencies and exhibitions across Latin America and Europe. She has been awarded the First Prize Matisse for Visual Arts and participated in programs like Invernadero: Art, Politics, Experiment. Her work has been showcased at the Asunción Biennial, SIART in Bolivia, and venues such as Crudo and RoomServiceInt in Paraguay, as well as exhibitions in Paris and Zagreb.
