Emilio Pettoruti
Emilio Pettoruti (1894-1971) was an Argentine painter who played a key role in introducing Cubism and Futurism to Latin America. Influenced by Juan Gris and Giacomo Balla, he fused geometry and color in his work. He directed the Museo de Bellas Artes de La Plata and settled in Paris in 1953, leaving a lasting mark on modern art.
