Emilio Coutaret (1892-1971) was an Argentine painter who blended Impressionism, Cubism, and Magical Realism in his approach to landscape painting. He studied in Europe before settling in Córdoba, where he developed a distinctive style marked by poetic atmospheres and bold color contrasts. He was awarded the Presidente de la República Prize (1935) and the Honor Prize from the Ministry of Education and Culture of Córdoba (1951).
