La Chola Poblete
La Chola Poblete (1989, Guaymallén, Mendoza) is an Argentine artist who explores the dynamics of cult, migration, and identity through her work in watercolor, oil, bread, and iron. Her work, which intervenes in historical and contemporary imaginaries, has been exhibited in major venues such as Palais Populaire (Berlin), Kunsthalle Lissabon (Lisbon), and the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires. In 2024, she participated in the Venice Biennale, where she received an Honorable Mention. She studied visual arts at the National University of Cuyo and has been part of platforms like Laboratorio de Acción and MARCO Arte Foco in Buenos Aires.
