Carolina Magnin

Carolina Magnin is an Argentine visual artist specializing in photography and combined arts. She trained at the University of Buenos Aires and the International Center of Photography in New York. Her work has been exhibited at key venues such as Centro Cultural Recoleta, Fundación PROA, and Museo Sívori, as well as in galleries in Berlin, Hamburg, Milan, London, and New York. Winner of First Prize in Photography at Argentina’s National Visual Arts Salon (2019), she has been selected for Bienal Sur (2017, 2023), the Braque Prize (2017), and the Itaú and Andreani Foundation Prize (2012, 2017). She has received grants from Argentina’s Ministry of Culture, the National Arts Fund, and the Buenos Aires City Government. Magnin co-founded the artist residency La Ira de Dios (2010-2019) and is currently a professor at the University of Buenos Aires. She lives and works in Buenos Aires.
