Alisa Berger

Alisa Berger (born 1987, Makhachkala, Russia) is an artist creating films and installations, often in a collaborative process, incorporating performative interventions. Her work has been exhibited internationally at major institutions like the Moscow Museum of Modern Art and Kindl Center for Contemporary Art in Berlin. Nominated for awards such as the Max Ophüls Prize, Berger is also the co-founder of the production company FORTIS FEM FILM, which focuses on increasing the visibility of women’s stories in film.
