Débora Pierpaoli

Débora Pierpaoli (b. 1979, Buenos Aires) is an acclaimed contemporary artist with a strong presence in international art circuits. Since 2006, her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru, France, and the United States. She studied at the Prilidiano Pueyrredón National School of Fine Arts and participated in the Artist Program at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. Her most notable solo exhibitions include La Edad de Hierro (Fundación Klemm, 2015), Oh si existiera (MAMBA, 2014), and El corazón casi afuera de mi boca (Galería 713, 2010). She has also been featured in major group exhibitions like Últimas Tendencias II (MAMBA, 2012). Pierpaoli has received prestigious awards such as First Prize in the XVII Klemm Award (2013), the Oxenford Grant (2013), and the National Arts Fund Creation Grant (2011). Her work explores the boundaries of painting and installation with a unique visual language. She currently lives and works in Buenos Aires.
