Florencia Caiazza
Florencia Caiazza (Buenos Aires, 1982) is a visual artist. She studied at REA, the Artists’ Program at UTDT (2015), and the Peripheries Post Program (Ireland, 2022/23). She received several awards including the Vicente López Art Prize (2024), FNA Creation Grant (2022), Kenneth Kemble Young Artist Award (2017), and 1st Prize at CALL XVIII, Galería Luis Adelantado (Valencia, 2016). Her work has been shown at MAMBA, Museo Sívori, CC Recoleta, CC San Martín, MUMU, CC Parque España, A Gentil Carioca (Brazil), Luis Adelantado (Spain), MAC Coruña and HfBK Dresden. She has participated in residencies in Argentina and abroad. Since 2022, she teaches at the Regina Pacis School of Fine Arts. Her practice investigates the intersection of materiality and symbolism through installation, drawing, and collective experiences.
