Adriana Pineda is a visual artist and cultural manager with extensive experience in curatorship and art production. She holds a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from the National University of Colombia, Medellín, and has led initiatives that foster artistic exchange and independent production. As the founder of Taller 7, she has developed a self-managed space that functions as an experimental lab, a residency platform, and an exhibition venue for both local and international artists.
Her expertise in art management and curatorship includes serving as the general producer of ARCO COLOMBIA in 2015, strengthening the presence of Colombian art on the global stage. In 2014, she curated Relatos desde la Frontera at the Museo Casa de la Memoria in Medellín, focusing on themes of displacement and territory. Her work with the Capacete Residency Program includes serving as a curatorial assistant in Rio de Janeiro in 2008 and co-curating and co-producing the program in São Paulo in 2010, further expanding her influence in the Latin American art scene.
