Alejandro Bonome was an Argentine painter and printmaker, part of Córdoba's Generation of the Forties. His work explored landscapes, geometric abstraction, and bold black contour lines, developing a distinctive visual identity.
He exhibited in New York, San Francisco, Chile, and Uruguay, and received awards at the Santa Fe Salon, Buenos Aires National Salon, and the Watercolorists and Printmakers Salon. He also directed the School of Applied Arts in Córdoba, leaving a lasting impact on Argentina’s art education.
