Soledad Sánchez Goldar
Soledad Sánchez Goldar (1977, Buenos Aires) is an Argentine artist focused on performance art, object art, and photography. She holds a degree in Theatre from the National University of Córdoba and has worked as a lighting designer for independent theatre. She is part of the Escrituras Performáticas research team and is developing an oral memory archive on performance art, alongside Ana Volonté and Inti Pujol.
Sánchez Goldar has organized the Encuentro Contínuo Latidoamericano de Performance and received awards in the 35th Premio y Salón de Arte de Córdoba (2016) and the 95th Salón de Mayo (2018). Having worked with artists like Gómez Peña and Regina Galindo, she has presented work since 1998. She is part of La Nariz en la Taza, promoting performance events in Córdoba. She has curated exhibitions at the Centro de Arte Contemporáneo in Córdoba and the Museo Tlatelolco, with her work presented at international festivals in Brazil, Mexico, China, and Germany.
