Nicolás Cox

Nicolás Cox (b. 1994, Puerto Montt, Chile) is a visual artist based in Madrid since 2022. His practice focuses on art actions mediated by photography, engaging objects, sites, and specific contexts through a critical and political lens. He has participated in exhibitions such as Carácter (Biblioteca Nicanor Parra, 2018), Formas de guardar silencio (Galería AFA, 2019), CHAMBRE 07 (Aubenas, 2021), and BIENALSUR 2021 at Museo Castillo de Mata. His work has been shown at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Santiago and addresses historical memory, antifascism, and power structures. His work is included in the Fundación Francis Naranjo collection.
