Romina Orazi

Romina Orazi and Gabriela Pulópulo are Argentine visual artists who presented a joint project at the first edition of BienalSur in 2017. Orazi was born on May 14, 1972, in Trelew, Chubut, and lives and works in Buenos Aires. She holds a degree in Visual Arts, specializing in painting, from the Instituto Universitario Nacional del Arte, and her work, linked to free culture and copyleft, proposes devices meant to be used and multiplied, along with interventions using plant species in marginal spaces. She has presented her work at Centro Cultural Rojas, the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach and the Museo Castagnino+macro in Rosario, and received the first Refugio Móvil prize from the Centro Cultural de la Memoria Haroldo Conti in 2012. Pulópulo works in collage, drawing and photography, and took part in the MACsur Prize exhibition at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo del Sur in 2018. Both artists jointly occupied a space in the exhibition Casa Tomada, at the Casa Nacional del Bicentenario in Buenos Aires.
