Marcelo Expósito

Marcelo Expósito (Spain, 1966) is an artist, researcher, and political activist. His practice combines video, installation, and essay to explore the relationships between art, social movements, and political action. He has been a member of the collective Grupo de Arte Callejero and has collaborated with cultural activism platforms across Europe and Latin America. His work has been exhibited at the Museo Reina Sofía, the MACBA, the Van Abbemuseum, and Documenta Kassel. He served as a member of the Spanish Congress of Deputies for Podemos between 2016 and 2019. He has published extensively on political art, counterculture, and emancipatory movements, and has taught at various art education institutions.
