Geraldo Zamproni
Geraldo Zamproni was born in Paraná and currently lives and works in Curitiba, Brazil. Trained in Architecture and Urbanism at UEL, he has developed for over two decades an artistic practice exploring the relationship between space, the body, and material. Using industrial materials such as plastic, iron, and foam, his sculptures and installations create visual instability, altering the viewer’s perception by removing everyday objects from their usual scale, function, and context. By reassembling these elements into unexpected compositions, Zamproni constructs unusual and poetic architectures that challenge ideas of balance and permanence. His process is handcrafted and experimental, rooted in a deep exploration of material potential. Notable works include Entre Sem Bater (2006), Estruturas Brincantes (2012–2013), Sustentabilidade (2015), and Seres Domésticos (2020). His studio functions as a creative laboratory where art becomes a space for play, rupture, and transformation.
