Cathy Burghi

Cathy Burghi is a Uruguayan visual artist based in Paris, known for her multidisciplinary approach in drawing, installation, and performance. Her work explores cultural identity, memory, and migration, with a focus on women's roles in society. She has exhibited at the Bendana-Pinel Gallery and UNESCO in Paris, as well as the Kavlin Cultural Center in Uruguay. She has participated in the IX Biennial of Contemporary Art of Salto and the VI International Biennial of Contemporary Textile Art in Mexico. Her work fosters a visual dialogue on migration and the reconstruction of identity.
