Teresa Mulet
Teresa Mulet (Caracas, 1970) is a Venezuelan visual artist and designer addressing themes such as violence, power, and social decay. Her transdisciplinary work integrates visual arts, typography, and architecture in interactive installations. Projects like Ejercicio Contable and Ejercicio Volumen turn violent death statistics into impactful visual experiences. Mulet has created her own typographic system in projects like Tipo útil and Tipo inútil, exploring the meaning of language in society.
Since 2018, Mulet has lived in Barcelona, exhibiting in international spaces such as ARCO Madrid and Art Basel Miami. She has also carried out public space interventions like Dale Letra and Ejercicio Agitar—Soltar, using art as a form of activism. Mulet continues to establish herself as an artist committed to social critique through her provocative visual language.
