Agustina Crespo (1983, Buenos Aires) is a composer, singer, and educator. She graduated with honors in Composition from the Catholic University of Argentina (UCA) in 2007 and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Singing from the National University of the Arts (UNA). She trained with renowned mentors such as Marta Lambertini, Juan Ortiz de Zárate, Julio Viera, Gerardo Gandini, and Marcelo Delgado.
She is currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Contemporary Music at the Manuel de Falla Conservatory and developing her doctoral thesis in Composition. She has participated in festivals and masterclasses such as Warsaw Autumn (2024), Ciel Academy (2022), Forecast Platform Berlin (2022), Forum Nueva Música (2013, 2017), Centre Acanthes (France, 2009-2010), and the International Academy of Composition and New Technologies (2008), working with Mark André, Juan Carlos Tolosa, Mathias Spahlinger, Beat Furrer, Hugues Dufourt, Ivan Fedele, and Martín Matalón.
Her work has received numerous awards, including the Revelation Composer Award from Radio Nacional Clásica (2023), the Honorable Mention from the National Arts Fund (2023), 1st Prize in the SADAIC National Composition Competition (2016), 2nd Prize from the Argentine Council of Music – UNESCO (2013), and the Prix d’Encouragement from the General Council of Pas-de-Calais (2012).
She has collaborated with ensembles such as Pro-Modern Vocal Ensemble, Linea Ensemble, Dal Niente Ensemble, Nonsense Ensemble, La Compañía Oblicua, MEI, Cuarteto de Buenos Aires, and Tropi Ensemble. Her works have been performed in Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Spain, France, Poland, Germany, and the U.S. She currently resides in Buenos Aires, working as a composer, singer, and professor at the National University of Tres de Febrero and the National University of Quilmes.
