Santiago Contreras

Santiago Contreras Soux is a Bolivian visual artist and architect whose work explores the common languages between architecture and art. He has participated in biennials such as the VII Bienal SIART in La Paz and the 17th Biennial of Santa Cruz. He was awarded the Premio Arte Joven España at the VII Bienal SIART. His work has also been part of international exhibitions like Continentes at the Biennial Mercosur. Contreras holds degrees in Philosophy, Arts, and Education and has published books like Pensamiento inalámbrico and Lorgio en los anillos. He currently manages the Ecléctica platform and has curated exhibitions such as Minúsculas revoluciones de la empatía ecológica (Fundación Patiño). His work is included in major public and private collections, positioning him as a key figure in contemporary art in Bolivia.
