Alejandra Alarcón

Alejandra Alarcón is a Bolivian visual artist and painter whose work examines female identity and bodily transformation. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from La Esmeralda (Mexico) and has participated in over 80 group exhibitions across America, Europe, and Asia. Winner of the XVIII International Biennial of Contemporary Art of Santa Cruz (2012) and a recipient of the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant (New York, 2019-2020), her work has been showcased at the National Museum of Art in La Paz, Galería Sicart in Barcelona, and Solar do Jambeiro Museum in Brazil.
