Cristina Portela

Cristina Portela is an acclaimed contemporary artist from Argentina with extensive training in painting, philosophy, and art history. She has worked with renowned artists and curators such as Sergio Bazán, Norberto Griffa, and Ernesto Ballesteros. Her work has been showcased in major art galleries and fairs in New York, Miami, Berlin, Lisbon, Madrid, and Buenos Aires, including BienalSur 2019, Centro Cultural Recoleta, and Museo Emilio Pettoruti. Awarded the First Painting Prize at the Colegio de Abogados de San Isidro Salon and the 2nd Honorable Mention at the XLVII Salón Fernán Félix de Amador, Portela's work has gained national and international recognition. She also served as the executive director of the Medifé Foundation’s Art and Environment Biennial. Currently, she lives and works in Buenos Aires.
