Ciprian Homorodean is a contemporary artist born in Timisoara, Romania (1982), with a strong background in traditional sculpture. Since 2012, he has lived in Barcelona, where he creates thought-provoking artworks exploring identity, stereotypes, and social criticism through irony and humor.
Using sculpture and various media, he addresses themes such as inequality, social resignation, and the perception of success and failure. His works have been showcased at prestigious international events, including the Bucharest Biennale (2006, 2012) and Dublin Contemporary (2011).
Homorodean was awarded the Prix du Hainaut in Belgium (2007) and has exhibited in galleries and museums across Europe and beyond. His work has been frequently presented in Barcelona.
